A testimonial dinner in honor of the Hakoah Soccer team will be tendered at the Pennsylvania Hotel on June 1, on the eve of the team’s departure from the United States.
Benny Leonard is the chairman of a committee which includes representatives of all factions of New York Jewry to honor the Jewish players. Mr. Leonard has on many previous occasions during his career given the proceeds of his bouts for social and philanthropic purposes.

Leading Jews of the East Side were guests at dinner Monday night of Max Bernstein, proprietor of Libby’s Hotel, the first modern Jewish hotel on the East Side, which was opened to the public yesterday. The hotel is at Delancey and Chrystie Streets. The hotel will serve kosher food. It was elected at a cost of $3,000,000.
