Complaints against the Averescu government for its failure to live up to its promises made to representatives of the Jewish population were expressed by Deputy A. Ebner, in an article in the “Ostjuedische Zeitung” today.

Deputy Ebner declares that the government has not fulfilled its assurances given in the field of education. No Jewish students are on the matriculation lists of the Roumanian universities, he states.

Indignation prevails among the Jewish population, particularly since the recent anti-Semitic excesses led by the Cuza party, Deputy Ebner writes.
