Akim Volinsky, also known under the name of Flexer, the noted writer and theatrical critic, died yesterday.

Akim Volinsky was especially known for his work on Leonardo da Vinci, which is considered as one of the best studies of the famous Italian painter. For this work the Italian government conferred on Volinsky the honorary citizenship of Milan.

Volinsky’s burial, which was attended by many writers and theatrical celebrities, took place in Leningrad today.
