Two hundred and fifty young Jewish men are gathering in St. Paul to attend the third annual convention of the Aleph Zadik Aleph, junior order of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith which opens here today.

A strenuous business program has been arranged by the St. Paul chapter of the Junior Order and the Supreme Advisory Council, headed by Sam Beber of Omaha.

Since the last convention at Kansas City in 1925, the B’nai B’rith has officially recognized the A. Z. A. as their junior order. To date five of the seven B’nai B’rith districts in the United States have voted acceptance, as has the Constitution Grand Lodge.

A feature of the convention this year will be the presenting of a wall plaque, bearing the A. Z. A. insignia, to the chapter judged to be the best all around.

A new Orthodox congregation was formed in Sandusky, Ohio. Rabbi J. Stern of Cleveland, was chosen rabbi of the congregatior.
