The news of the conferring of the Knighthood of the Grand Cross Order of the Bath upon Sir Herbert Samuel by King George, on the occasion of His Majesty’s birthday, has been received here with a great deal of interest.
Lord Plumber, the High Commissioner, despatched a cable of congratulations to Sir Herbert.
