A general exodus of Jewish scientists from the Viennese institutions of higher learning is expected shortly, it was learned here today.

Many renowned medical men who hold positions of instructors in the Viennese colleges, who were not given full professorship because of the numerus clausus against Jewish professors, have decided to give up their posts. This action was prompted by the fact that recently many young and unknown medical men, non-Jews, were appointed to full professorship, while mature and experienced teachers were ignored because they were Jews.
