The journey to Egypt and Palestine will be considerably shortened, due to arrangements which are now being made by the Italian government. It was announced that an express service to Alexandria by six Italian steamship lines will be instituted shortly. The new route will enable travellers from London to reach Egypt in 85 hours and Palestine in 95 hours.
