Dr. Melchior, business associate of Max Warburg of Hamburg, was named by the German government as its representative at the Permanent Finance Commission of the League of Nations, it was learned here today.
Dr. Melchior, together with Mr. Warburg, took a leading part in the German finance delegation during the negotiations of the Treaty of Versailles.
