Orthodox Rabbi Will Open Hungarian Senate

Rabbi Koppel Reich, chief rabbi of the Orthodox Jewish community of Budapest, will open the Hungarian senate when it convenes here. In accordance with tradition, the oldest member of the House opens the session. Rabbi Reich is 88 years old.

Among the democrats elected to Parliament were Dr. Bela Fabian and Dr. Paul Sander. Chief Rabbi Hevesi, candidate for the Federation of Communities of Pest, was unanimously elected to the Senate.
