Marked progress of the Palestine Electric Company was shown in the report submitted at the annual meeting of the Jaffa Electric Company, which is a part of the Ruttenberg concession.
The meeting decided to pay an eight per cent dividend on the preferred stock and six per cent on the common stock. An increase of thirty-three per cent in the consumption of electric power over 1925 was recorded in the report for 1926.
