Saxon Government Invites Jew to Leipsig University

The government of Saxony is negotiating with Professor Willstaetter, winner of the Nobel prize in chemistry, to accept the chair of chemistry at the University of Leipsig, it was learned today.

Professor Willstaetter, who resigned from the University of Munich because of the anti-Semitic attitude of the university senate, plans to go to the United States in the spring to lecture at Harvard.
