Three Jewish Senators were elected to the French Senate. They are Paul Strauss, Lazar Weiller and Louis L. Klotz, former cabinet member. Salomon Reinach, well known French Jewish scholar, was elected president of the Acadamic des Inscriptions et Belles Lettres.
