(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The Caesarea area recently attacked by Arabs who uprooted 4,000 eucalyptus trees planted by the Jewish Colonization Association, was proclaimed a closed forest area in order to protect it from further attacks.

CORRECTION

An error occurred in the report of a campaign launched on March 1, in Syracuse, N.Y. The drive is for a quota of $50,000 for the United Palestine Appeal, and not, as was stated, a combined drive.

Isaac Markson is chairman of the drive and Col. Joseph Bondy is Chairman of the Executive Committee.

The United Jewish Campaign drive in Syracuse was conducted in the Spring, at which time the quota of $90,000 was exceeded.
