The “Robkors”, the group of officials which came into existence in Russia with the advent of the Soviet system, were charged with the task of assisting the Communist party in its fight against what is termed “clericalism”, by a decision of the conference of “Robkors” held in Charkoff.
The Robkors are the so-called “labor correspondents” appointed by the Communist party in each town and village for the purpose of reporting to the Communist press on the life of the population from a purely Communist angle. The conference consisted of labor correspondents of the Communist angle. The conference consisted of labor correspondents of the Communisth Yiddish Press. The resolution adopted states that the correspondents must “expose all attempts of the clericals and Zionists to revive their influence among the masses.”
The resolution also urges the labor correspondents to report on all anti-Semitic activities.
