The machinery necessary for the commencement of the work on the Jordan, ordered in England by the Palestine Electric Corporation, is expected to arrive here in June. The work will be begun in July.
Pinchas Ruttenberg announced that 1,500 Jewish and Arab workers will be employed immediately the work starts.
