The question of child labor in Palestine was raised in the House of Commons today.
Replying to the question of whether children are employed in the match factory at Acre, Col. Leopold H. Amery, Colonial Secretary, stated that no regulation relating to child labor exists in Palestine, but legislation is being considered to prohibit the employment of children under twelve in industrial undertakings.
