The thirteenth annual convention of the Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organization, unofficially opened here this afternoon, at the Hotel Ritz Carlton with a regional conference of leaders representing practically every section of the country.
Reports of the chairman of the regional units were presented for the Midwest, New England States, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the Seaboard, Southern and Southwestern regions and sectors.
The question of cooperation with other Zionist bodies was discussed preliminary to the convention session.
A meeting of the national Board of Directors will be held tonight and the official opening of the convention will take place at 11 o’clock Thursday morning.
