The authorities continued their policy of expulsion of Jews. Even those whose fathers were born on Hungarian soil, but whose grandfathers came from Eastern Europe, are not spared.

Among those who were to be expelled was a family by the name of Losh, which had been domiciled in Hungary for the last 150 years. When the head of the family learned that they were to be driven from their home, be attempted to commit suicide. The city authorities have granted him time in which to make an appeal.
