Jewish District is Renamed Kalinindorf

Sadeh Menauchah, the gldest Jewish colony in the Ukraine and the principal settlement in the newly established Jewish region was renamed Kalinindorf.

A decision of the Wzik, Central Executive Committee of the government, confirmed the change of name. The whole Jewish district will be known under the name of Kalinindorf, in honor of Michael Kalinin, President of the Soviet Republic.
