Seven persons were sentenced by the Moscow District Court for participating in the murder of Turov-Ginsburg, Soviet official who was killed last June.
The court at first sentenced four of the accused to death. Later the sentence was commuted, two receiving sentences of ten years imprisonment, one to eight years and one to five. Three of the accused were sentenced to 2 years imprisonment.
Because of the fact that Turov held an important post it was at first thought that the murder had a political nature. It was later found that it was an ordinary case of brigandage.
