The application of the numerus clausus in Hungarian universities, limiting the number of Jewish students is being enforced more strictly notwithstanding the fact that the colleges are not filled.
Of the 1752 students who enrolled for the new semester 98 are Jews. At the University of Bucharest 782 new students have enrolled, of whom 18 are Jews. In Szegedin 150 students were enrolled of whom only 12 are Jews.
