The elimination of the Jewish feature at the unveiling of the Hindenberg memorial last Sunday at Hohenstein. East Prussia, commemorating the Battle of Tannenberg, was due to the threat of the Voelkische party.

Leaders of the party declared, the Jewish Front Soldiers Association here learned, that if the rabbi would have been permitted to deliver his address, the party members would have left the exercises.

Named in honor of Governor Albert C. Ritchie of Maryland, the Albert C. Eltchle Club has been formed here by Jewish business and professional men. Organized to formulate interest in civic affairs of the city, the club will be the only Jewish body of its kind in Raltimore.

David Stein was elected president of the club.
