The methods of fraud and falsification employed by the German anti-Semites in their anti-Jewish propaganda were exposed and branded by the court here in the trial of Herr Kopsch, anti-Semitic publisher.
Kopsch was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment after it was proven that he had falsified an official document on the basis of which he formed the charge that Franz Oppenheimer, well known German Jewish agricultural expert, gave the amount of 4,000,000 marks to Herr Braun, Prussian Prime Minister, in order that the Jews could obtain control of the socialist movement.
It was conclusively proven that the document referred to by Kopsch stated that Prof. Oppenheimer raised the amount of 4,000,000 paper marks during the inflation period for furthering the collective settlements of German workers on the land. These settlements have proven a great success.
Gellin, a high official in the Breslau district court who was involved in this falsification, was suspended from his post.
