The Hudson Country sections of the National Council of Jewish Women have decided to erect in Jersey City a home for Jewish working girls. A fund is to be started for this purpose.

Several new institutions have been launched by the Sections of the National Council of Jewish Women, in various cities of the United States, including the Juanita Kaufman Nye Council House at Washington, D. C., the May Morris Council Home at Denver, Colo.; and the Council House at Los Angeles, Calif. The new home of the Detroit Section was formerly the home of the Jewish Woman’s Club, a report from the national headquarters of the Council states.

In San Antonio, New York City and Minneapolis, new buildings have replaced the former edifices that housed their respective institutions, namely the Non-Sectarian Kindergarten and Neighborhood Center at San Antonio; the Girls’ Home Club at New York City; and the South Side Neighborhood House at Minneapolis. In Portland, Oregon, an addition has been made to the space and facilities of the Council Neighborhood House.

In Erie, Pennsylvania, and Providence, R. I., the Local Sections have recently established Vacation Homes, which are utilized during the summer period.
