Warnings against alarmist reports concerning the forthcoming trial of Sholom Schwartzbard, slayer of Semion Petlura, were issued here from authoritative sources.
Well informed sources emphatically denied reports circulated in the Yiddish press in Europe concerning the nature of the indictment against Schwartzbard. All these reports are definitely untrue, it was declared. The contents of the indictment will be disclosed on the opening day of the trial and nothing concerning the character and tone of the indictment has hitherto been announced.
