A period of one hundred years in the history of the Jewish community of Berlin during which communal affairs were under the leadership of the Liberal Jews came to a close yesterday when the new Kehillah board was constituted.

The board, which consists of seven members, is composed of 3 Liberals, 2 Zionists, 1 Conservative and I representing the Center party. It is understood that the president of the Kehillah will be Gershon Simon, the representative of the Center party. During the past 100 years the Liberals were in complete control of the Kehillah.
