(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The bill prepared by the Minister of Education for relaxing the numerus clausus against Jewish students in Hungarian universities was approved by Admiral Horthy, Regent of Hungary.

The haste in which the matter is being attended to is explained here by the desire of the Hungarian government to settle this question before the session of the League Council, to which the Hungarian government gave its promise to withdraw the numerus clausus.
