“Toward the Light.” a book by Mrs. Mary Fels, has just been published by George Dobsevage.

The book represents a collection of Mary Fels’ writings on various phases of life observed in her many years of travel and contact with leading men and women of the world. Through her long participation in the Single Tax movement and in other movements aiming to bring about better social conditions and deeper appreciation of spiritual values in modern life, Mrs. Fels has gained a crystallized view of men and affairs.

The paragraphs, mainly in the style of aphorisms, are lucid, sincere expressions of the noted American Jewish woman’s endeavor to help humanity see the way to a broader spiritual life, “toward the light.”
