Minister Bars Student Society Which Excludes Jews (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The conception of Aryanism as the principle upon which German students are to organize in inter-university federations, is the bone of contention between the Prussian Students Organization and Minister of Education Becker.

Herr Becker recently rebuked the students for their plan to form inter-university federations on the Aryan principle, excluding Jewish students. The purpose of student organizations is not to promote racial hatred but intellectual cooperation and understanding, the Minister told the students. Notwithstanding this opinion, the students submitted a plan of organization in accordance with the Aryan principle. This plan was rejected by the Minister.
