Fritsch Acknowledges Receipt of Ford Letter on ‘international Jew’

Theodor Fritsch, translator into German of Henry Ford’s book, “The International Jew” and distributor of the book, acknowledged today the receipt of Henry Ford’s letter ordering him to stop the distribution of the book.

In a letter addressed to Henry Ford, Fritsch expressed his readiness to comply with the automobile manufacturer’s demand to discontinue the distribution of the book, but he declares that he will do so on “certain conditions.” What the conditions are is not specified in the letter.

There are 9.400 copies of the German and Spanish editions of the “International Jew.” “These are now worthless since your retraction,” Fritsch writes in his letter to Ford, adding his regret that he had withdrawn what was “your greatest achievement in your life.”
