A protest against exploiting the anti-Jewish riots in Oradeamare for the purposes of Hungarian propaganda was voiced in the Roumanian parliament by Dr. William Filderman, president of the Union of Roumanian Jews.
His protest was a part of the address Dr. Filderman delivered in parliament complaining of the failure of the government to prevent the excesses.
The Hungarian government has no right to claim that it is outraged because of the anti-Jewish excesses in Roumania, since it upholds its own numerus clausus and the excesses in connection therewith, Dr. Filderman declared.
The responsibility for the riots was placed upon Alexander Cuza by the Socialist Deputy, Pakots, speaking in parliament. It is Cuza who is a colleague of the Hungarian anti-Semites, having visited Budapest recently in connection with the Anti-Semitic International activities, he stated.
The text of the resolution adopted at the students congress in Oradeamare before the riots started became known here. In it the congress declared that the Roumanian students will continue to fight until the numerus clausus against Jewish students is enforced.
Dedication ceremonies were held on Sunday for the new addition to the Jewish Community Center in Oakland, Cal. sponsored by the Jewish Federation.

The new building provides a large assembly room for lectures and a committee room for work of the Daughters of Israel Relief Society and of the Fruit and Flower Mission committee. There is a large area for an open-air playground.
