Boston Attorney Creates $100,000 Fund for Newsboys

A $100,000 fund to aid newsboys who desire to obtain a college education was established by Harry E. Buroughs, Boston attorney.

The establishment of the newsboys’ foundation was announced by Mrs. Burroughs yesterday at the Boston City Club before a gathering of 1,500 newsboys.

The speakers at the meeting were Governor Alvan T. Fuller, Judge Michael J. Murray; Joseph G. Brin, Dean Omer Albers of Boston University Law School; Mrs. Jennie Loitman Barron. member of the Boston School Committee.

The Advisory members of the foundation includes: Governor Alvan T. Fuller, Judge William C. Wait of the Mass. Supreme Court, Roger W. Babson, Rabbi Harry Levi, Christopher L. Bullman of the National Shawmut Bank and Dr. George W. Coleman.
