A resolution urging the withdrawal of the film “King of Kings” was adopted by the Executive Council of the Rabbinical Assembly at its meeting yesterday.
The resolution read: “Resolved that the Rabbinical Assembly register its protest against the public exhibition of the motion picture, ‘The King of Kings.’ on the ground that the showing of such a film is conducive to a feeling of prejudice by Christians against Jews,
“And that the Rabbinical Assembly request the Synagogue Council to ask Christian bodies engaged in the effort of promoting good-will between Jews and Christians, to use their offices toward the withdrawal of that film.”
