Gives $100,000 to Hospital Building in Chicago

Max Epstein who endowed one of the clinics of the University of Chicago, has donated $100,000 more to be used in the building of the new Lying-in hospital on the university’s medical campus. The fund is to finance an out-patient department.

“I am especially desirous that this department shall foster the prevention of infant mortality, “Mr. Epstein stated in the letter announcing his gift.
