The Sunday morning issue of the “Haint,” Yiddish caily which is supporting the national minorities bloc, was confiscated by the authorities.
The first election campaign meeting ailed by Isaac Gruenbaum to present the lat form of the bloc which was scheduled for Sunday was postponed.
Strenuous efforts are now being made y the Jewish labor party, Bund, and the left Poale Zion party, whose negotiations or a bloc had failed, to secure the support of non-Jewish Socialist groups in such localities where the union may prove mutually advantageous.
