Palestine High Commissioner’s Rule Will Include Transjordania (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The new status of Transjordania will be established shortly when the British government will sign the new treaty between Emir Abdullah and His Majesty’s Government.

Negotiations for the treaty, which is modelled after the Anglo-Iraq treaty, have been practically completed. According to the terms, Lord Plumer, High Commissioner of Palestine, would also become the High Commissioner of Transjordania, administering the two countries.
