Twelve instruments were ordered by the Palestine government to foretell approaching earthquakes, it was learned today.
Professor Evans, vice-president of the London Geological Society, lecturing in the Hebrew University, stated that he had invented an apparatus which would prognosticate earthquakes several hours in advance of their occurrence. The Palestine government had ordered twelve of these instruments, he stated.
