Jewish Student Congress Split on Soviet Protest

The Jewish Students Congress which was in session here last week was broken up when a split occured over a protest against Soviet Russia for its persecution of Zionists.

A resolution couched in strong terms was adopted protesting against the persecutions. Under the pressure of the Left group the resolution was withdrawn. The Zionist and nationalist elements left, the Congress singing the Hatikvah.
