Fifty thousand dollars was raised at a banquet inaugurating the United Palestine Appeal here. Dr. Chaim Weizmann was the guest of honor at the banquet held Sunday night. Toronto’s objective in this year’s campaign is $75,000.
Dr. Weizmann was received by the Lieutenant Governor at the Government House on Monday.
