I. O. B. B. Sends $5,000 for Jewish Quake Victims

The sum of $5,000 to provide first aid for the Jewish victims of the earthquake in the Bulgarian cities was despatched by the Independent Order B’nai Brith, Alfred M. Cohen, president of the order, announced.

The action was taken as the result of an urgent appeal cabled to the I. O. B. B. headquarters by the president of the B’nai Brith district in Constantinople, to whom the Bulgarian Jews appealed for aid.
