The thirteenth anniversary of the Battle of Carency, where many Jewish soldiers fell, was commemorated last night by the Jewish War Volunteers Organization.

The meeting, held at Salle Bullier, was presided over by General Weiler. A representative of the Alliance Israelite Universelle. Emil Leven, Deputy Lamberg and Henri Torres were the speakers. In his address M. Torres declared that France paid her debt to the Jews who fell in the war by acquitting Sholom Schwartzbard.
