The establishment of a mortgage bank for Palestine and Syria is a project now being advocated by Emir Michel Lutfallah, prominent Arab leader and anti-Zionist.
In an announcement in the Arab press it is stated that the Emir has undertaken the formation of a company which will issue shares for the purpose mentioned, as well as for the construction of a railway line from Beirut to Acre.
At the dedication of the Wilmington, N.C. Airport a monument was unveiled in honor of Arthur Bluethenthal, first of Wilmington and second of the State of North Carolina to die in action during the World War.
When the World War broke out, prior to the entry of the United States, Arthur Bluethenthal while a student at Princeton, joined the American Ambulance Field Service in May 1916. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.
