The Jewish population of the town of Prumughica have been ordered by the owner of the land, Madame Georgianu, to evacute their homes.

The Appeal Court in Jassy to which the Jews appealed has upheld the order. The appeal was made on the ground that the houses have been standing on this land for the past hundred years without previous objection to their occupation.
