“I have come to do my best to help the Jews in Palestine as elsewhere, even if I am no Zionist,” Louis Marshall, president of the American Jewish Committee declared on landing at Southampton on the steamer Majestic.

Mr. Marshall who arrived with Dr. Lee K. Frankel and Dr. Maurice B. Hexter were met at the pier by Felix M. Warburg and Dr. Judah L. Magnes. The party proceeded to Lord Mond’s country house, Melchet, near Southampton. Dr. Chaim Weizmann left for Melchet to join the other guests.
