An increase in the number of Jews on the Palestine frontier force is not possible at present, nor is there a possibility in the near future, declared Lord Plumer, High Commissioner, in response to representations made by the Vaad Leumi, the National Council of Palestine Jews. The Transjordania frontier force is now complete, the High Commissioner stated, adding that a decrease in the force is planned for 1929 and 1930.
