To Deport Communists for Protest Against Flogging

Prison terms and deportation were imposed by the Tel Aviv court on three communists who demonstrated against the practice of flogging prisoners in the Palestine jails and resisting the police who attempted to disperse the demonstration.

Lipman was sentenced to twenty-five days in jail to be followed by deportation. Holzman to a month imprisonment and Rachel Jzevsky to ten days.
