Arrest Jewish Manufactuer and 14 Cooperative Workers

A Funk, so called king of the shoe-paste industry in Moscow, was arrested here yesterday. Together with him were arrested the presidents of three cooperative societies. A. Zeitlin. M. Zekstein and A. Rabinovitch.

The cooperative workers were charged with helping Funk to obtain through the cooperatives raw material imported by the government for his private shoe-paste factory. Fourteen other persons, mostly Jews, will be tried in connection with these charges.
