The Agrojoint, the agency of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, as well as the Soviet Government are doing their utmost to improve the condition of the Jewish colonies in the Cherson district, declared Dr. Joseph A. Rosen, head of the Agrojoint, in an interview with the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today.

The soya bean has now been introduced in the Jewish colonies, to furnish an additional source of revenue from the oil extracted from the bean. The oil has been contracted for in advance by the government soap trust, he stated.
