Comparisons are odious, especially when one is compared with a Jew, is the sentiment expressed in several Polish newspapers.

The papers criticise a Polish newspaperman, Mieczyslaw Nowinski, said to be the Warsaw correspondent of the Chicago Tribune, who, in writing of the planned new flight of the Polish aviators, Kubala and Idzikowski, referred to the planned flight as “a new Levine affair.”

Rabbi Simon Cohen, formerly of Bethel Temple, 76th St. and 5th Avenue, New York, has accepted a call to fill the pulpit of Temple Israel of Washington Heights.
