Jews Participate in International Conference for Migrants’ Protection

The fifth international conference for the protection of migrants was opened here yesterday with the participation of several European Jewish representatives of welfare organizations. The sessions of the conference will not be public.

Mr.Lucien Wolf of London was elected a member of the committee.

Other Jewish delegates in attendance are Mr. Adolph Copeland of Chicago, on behalf of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of America, Dr. Victor Jacobson on behalf of the World Zionist Organization, Dr. Wishnitzer on be half of the Hilisverein der Deutschen Juden, and Mr. Z. Aberson of the Emigdirekt of Berlin.

At the suggestion of the Emigdirekt, the Jewish delegates will consider the adoption of a joint program to be advocated at the conference.

At the meeting of the League of Nations Committee on Refugees, a concultative body consisting of Messrs. Abersan, Wolf and Wishnitzer, participated.
